International Council Of Shopping Centers-Goldmans' Sales Index Edges Higher

ICSC-Goldman's same-store sales index edged 0.1 percent higher in the September 20 week relative to what was a very soft prior week. Year-on-year sales returned to trend, rising 1.1 percentage points to plus 4.1 percent. The report notes wide strength in the week including for electronic stores which are getting a boost from the release of Apple's iPhone 6. For September as a whole, the report sees sales warming up to a 4 to 5 percent year-on-year pace that would be in line with August
