The International Council of Shopping Centers and Goldman Sachs Retail Chain Store Sales Index were flat in the weekended Saturday from the previous week on a seasonally adjusted, comparable-store basis.
Michael Niemira, ICSC vice president of research and chief economist said business was very healthy, with extremely
strong increases for dollar stores and wholesale clubs, while other retailers had solid sales.
On a year-to-year basis, the weekly reading rose 4.8%
