June factory orders up 1.1%

U.S. factory orders rebounded in June, rising 1.1% from the previous month, reaching the highest level since 1992, the Census Bureau reported Tuesday.

That was slightly better than the 0.6% increase forecast by economists in Action Economics survey. Orders fell 0.6% in May.
