Same-Store Retail Sales Favorable Growth Continues

Redbook's sample has reported another favorable month with September winding up with a very strong 5.8 percent same-store year-on-year sales pace in the September 28 week. This followed readings in the low to mid 5 percent area at mid-month following a 6 percent plus rate that opened the month. Redbook's results are pointing to a solid September retail sales report and a solid end to yet another favorable quarter for consumer spending.
