Consumer Confidence Continues Steady To Firm
Consumer confidence has been steady and firm so far this summer, evident
in the consumer comfort index which came in at 43.0 for the July 31
week following two prior weeks at 42.9. Firm levels of consumer
confidence point to optimism for the jobs outlook.
