Over the past year, Idaho led the country in employment growth, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
From October 2014 to October 2015, the state experienced a 3.8 percent increase in employment. Utah was second with 3.5 percent growth over the same period. Nevada ranked third with a 3.4 percent increase.
West Virginia and North Dakota were the only states to experience percentage decreases in employment, with 1.8 percent and 2.1 percent drops, respectively.
Idaho’s unemployment rate dipped to 4 percent in November, from 4.2 percent in October, according to the Bureau.
