New home sales falls sharply in November
- November New Home Sales: -11% Y/Y to 841K vs. 989K expected and 945K prior (revised from 999K).
- Rises 20.8% Y/Y.
- Median
sales price of new houses sold was $335,300 up from $330,600 in
October; average sales price of $390.1K compares with $386.2K in the
previous month.
- Seasonally adjusted estimate of new houses for
sale at the end of October was 286K, representing a supply of 4.1 months
at the current sale rate, flat from a 3.3-month supply at the end of
October.
