Import prices weaken, export price growth slows

October Import/Export Prices: Import prices -0.1% M/M vs. +0.2% consensus and +0.2% prior (revised from +0.3%).

October decline in import prices was driven by lower fuel prices, which more than offset higher nonfuel prices.

U.S. import prices fell 1.0% for the year ended in October.

Export prices +0.2% M/M vs. +0.3% consensus and +0.6% prior.

U.S. export prices declined 1.6% for the year ended October.
