Pending Home Sales Rise

Home sales data have been turning higher, highlighted by yesterday's new home sales report and including a 1.6 percent rise in pending home sales for August which will lift estimates for coming reports on existing home sales. All regions posted increases in pending sales during the month led by the West where prior weakness may now be easing.
