Auto Sales Steady
Auto sales looked to have a neutral impact for the June retail sales
report, based on unit sales which held steady at a 17.3 million annual
rate vs a revised 17.4 million in May. Though showing little monthly
change, June's rate is very solid and puts this year's trend back at
last year's in the mid-17 million area.
