Same-Store Retail Sales Accelerate

Robust growth is again the indication from Redbook's same-store sales index, accelerating 5 tenths to a 5.7 percent year-on-year rate in the May 25 week. This sample has reported strong conditions all year in contrast, however, to government data on the retail sector which have been mixed to uneven.
