Vehicle sales reached 11-month high in October

Total light weight vehicle sales in October reached a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 17.57 million, up from 17.44 million last month and the best showing since November, according to data from Autodata. Light truck sales were marginally lower, at 11.9 million vs. 12.03 million, while auto sales recovered to 5.67 million from 5.41 million.
