The Business News Week Ahead
There are no central bank meetings in the coming week. However, the lack
of economic data this past week will be made up by data releases during
this week. The final manufacturing PMIs will be reported globally. The
Eurozone will release the February flash harmonized index of consumer
prices along with February EC economic sentiment and January M3 money
supply. Italy, France and Canada publish updates on fourth quarter
growth. Japan releases January data for industrial production, retail
sales and unemployment. Fed chair Jerome Powell will give his first
testimony to Congress on Tuesday and Thursday.
