Consumer Comfort Remains At Strong Level
The consumer comfort index remains at a very strong level, at 52.3 in
the December 2 week. This index peaked in late August at 53.3. Full
employment, the rally in the stock market, and solid home-price
appreciation are all important pluses for confidence measures.
