Consumer Comfort Index Bounces Back

Weekly data are often subject to volatility, evident the last few weeks in the consumer comfort index which bounced back to 43.6 in the August 14 week following 41.8 and 43.0 in the prior two weeks. The bottom line is that this index is solid, confirming mostly positive attitudes in other consumer confident measures.
