Same Store Retail Sales Low On Clearance

Winter clearance made for low sales in the February 6 week, at a year-on-year same-store plus 0.6 percent. But Redbook did report Super Bowl-related demand in the week including for TVs and snack foods. The report expects to see acceleration through the rest of the month as Valentine's Day and President's Day approach.
